As a “pracademic,” Gail delights in designing workshops that provide practical value, are interactive and fun learning opportunities where people feel engaged, encouraged and enabled to take action that will enhance their personal growth and professional performance.
Before pursuing a doctorate in 1990, Gail gained 15 years of executive-level, practical experience in the public, private, and not-for-profit sectors that enriches her coaching and leadership development practice. As an executive director of several national not-for-profit organizations, consultant/coach to senior executives and managers of global corporations as well as municipal governments, Gail evolved a successful approach to increase organizational, team, and individual leadership effectiveness that transforms culture, empowers employees, and makes change work. Gail’s background provides a deep appreciation for the challenges facing organizations today and contributes richness to her coaching and facilitation skills.
Gail has a Ph.D. in Organizational Behaviour and was a founding faculty member in the design and delivery of the Master’s in Leadership Program at Royal Roads University in Victoria, B.C. In addition to her private practice, Gail also delivers a number of the modules for the BC government’s “Leading the Way” initiative. In 2001, Gail co-founded, designed and delivered the Executive Coaching Certificate Program at Royal Roads University. Gail is a graduate coach of CCUI and a certified facilitator of the Coaching Clinic™. |
